Requirements

  • An Inworld AI account
  • An Inworld API key
  • VoiceThisText account with provider connections enabled

Get Your API Key

  1. Sign in to Inworld Studio.
  2. Go to Integrations in your workspace settings.
  3. Create or copy your API key.
Keep your API key secure and do not share it publicly.

Connect Inworld AI

  1. In VoiceThisText, go to Providers.
  2. Click Add Provider and choose Inworld AI.
  3. Enter your API key.
  4. Save. VoiceThisText will validate your credentials and fetch available voices.

Models & Voices

Inworld provides two TTS models:

  • Inworld TTS 1.5 Max — high-quality model for best results
  • Inworld TTS 1.5 Mini — faster model with good quality

Voices include characters like Alex, Emma, Lily, Sakura, and others spanning English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.

Generating Audio

  1. Select the Inworld AI provider when creating an audio generation.
  2. Pick your preferred model and voice.
  3. Generate. VoiceThisText sends the request to Inworld and stores the audio.
  4. Embed the player or use the WordPress plugin to publish.

Troubleshooting

  • Auth errors — confirm your API key is correct and active in Inworld Studio.
  • Voice unavailable — ensure the voice you selected is supported by the chosen model.
  • Timeout errors — try switching to the Mini model for faster processing.
