Using Providers
Connect your TTS provider accounts to VoiceThisText.
Overview
VoiceThisText offers a built-in TTS provider powered by Google, so you can generate audio right away without any setup. For more control, you can also connect your own TTS provider accounts (ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Google Cloud, etc.) and manage everything from a single interface.
When using the "bring your own API key" approach:
- You pay your providers directly at their rates
- You have full control over your API keys and usage limits
- You can use voices you've already purchased or created
- Switch between providers without changing your workflow
Connecting a Provider
- Go to Providers in your dashboard
- Click Add Provider
- Select your TTS provider from the list
- Enter your API key (and any other required credentials)
- Click Connect Provider
Once connected, VoiceThisText will automatically fetch your available models and voices from the provider.

Managing Providers
You can have multiple connections of the same provider type. For example, you might connect two different ElevenLabs accounts if you have voices in both.
To manage your providers:
- Edit – Update credentials or rename a provider connection
- Disable – Temporarily disable a provider without removing it
- Delete – Remove a provider connection (existing audio won't be affected)
